Model History

The BSA M20 first saw the light of day in 1936 and though simple and unspectacular, thanks to the British defense ministry’s order for bikes to view the impending Nazi Germany threat, thousands of these basic bikes were produced.

Provenance

Sachin bought the bike around three years ago. Even though the bike did have most bits and pieces on it, a complete from the ground up restoration was resorted to. Was the staple motorcycle for the utilitarian biker of its time and also was used by the British army for dispatch duties. As was the case, reliability and ease of operation were hallmarks of the M20 in its prime and this is what emerges to the fore after a ride on this machine.
