Maruti Suzuki's premium showroom network, Nexa, has grown by leaps and bounds since the first showroom was inaugurated in July 2015. The first ton was achieved in January 2016, with the launch of a Nexa showroom in Andheri, Mumbai.

The addition of Nexa LB Nagar (Kalyani Motors) in Hyderabad expands the reach of the network – which is set to expand to 250 dealerships by the end of March 2017 – to over 121 cities in the country. Maruti has sold over 1.85 lakh cars from these dealerships since July 2015 and has set a goal of selling 20 lakh units by 2020.

The current range of Maruti cars sold through the Nexa network includes the recently launched Ignis 'premium urban compact', the Baleno 'premium hatchback' and the S-Cross 'premium crossover'

“Since its launch, Nexa has received an overwhelming response from customers and has done extremely well in its objective of changing the way cars are sold in India. Through Nexa, we offer a unique car buying experience, built on pampering, innovation and technology. With all these initiatives, we are able to attract new categories of customers who were earlier not considering us. We have taken the challenge to create newer segments to fulfil the wishes of our customers,” said R.S. Kalsi, executive director (marketing & sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited. “Nexa will continue to create new and unique experiences for its customer beyond selling cars, and forge relationships which last beyond car purchase. Nexa is a response to changing customer needs, expectations and aspirations,” he added.

Maruti will add the Baleno RS performance hatchback to its range of cars soon. This will also be exclusively sold through Nexa dealerships. Maruti is also expected to transfer the sale of the Ciaz flagship sedan through Nexa dealerships soon. The S-Cross has been given a facelift for many international markets, but it is not confirmed when it will make its way to India.
