For those looking to buy a car that offers performance without compromising on luxury, the wait will soon be over as BMW plans to bring in the facelifted 2014 M5 to India in the latter half of the year. Similar to its elder sibling the M6 Gran Coupe, the M5 too will sport the 4.4-litre two twin scroll turbochargers and produce 560PS of power and 680Nm of torque. The Competition Package will add another 15 PS to what is already a powerful engine. The standard M5’s top speed is limited to 250km/h but with the competition package and the added power it increases up to 305km/h.
The update on the 2014 model is a minor one and can only be spotted if you take a close look at the car. The updated model gets square headlights, new BMW family kidney grille, refreshed side sills aside from the adaptive LED headlight package that can be added on at a price. On the inside the car gets even more luxurious than before and marks a tick against a long list of features including and two preset driver modes controls on the steering wheels that alter the setup of the car as per your liking.
The 2014 BMW M5 is scheduled to be launched in the second half of the year and is expected to be priced around Rs 90 lakh. Also Read: 2014 BMW M5: Review
