Novitec Rosso had already unveiled its version of the Ferrari 458 Italia back in 2011. The German car tuner has now revealed its latest tuning program for the powerful Ferrari 458 Speciale. The tuning package includes styling and performance upgrades as well as optimised aerodynamics.
This new car features new spoilers, a unique blade for the front bumper, carbon-fibre moldings with gill-shaped profile for the rear side windows, a massive rear wing and a carbon-fibre diffuser with an electrically adjustable centre section.
The German car tuner offers a range of performance kits for the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The range-topping kit increases the 4.5-litre eight-cylinder engine’s power to 636PS and peak torque to 572Nm, giving the car a top-speed of 330kmph.
Novitec Rosso has worked on the exhaust system of this new car. The modified 458 Speciale’s exhaust system consists of a rear muffler, sports catalysts and two high-performance exhaust manifolds. It also boasts two matte black-finished tailpipes with a diameter of 100mm. This aids the power yield and produces a more energetic sound.
The exhaust system is seven kilograms lighter compared to the standard exhaust system, thanks to INCONEL, the same material used in Formula 1’s exhaust systems. One can also get the sports exhaust as a stand-alone upgrade, with a version that also includes electronic sound management.
