In a bid to boost the visual appeal of the Hyosung GT250R, the Korean manufacturer has updated its quarter-litre offering cosmetically. The facelifted Hyosung GT250R has been endowed with the fairing and headlight from its elder sibling the GT650R. The revised styling means the new bike gets a sleek and aggressive styling. But this change in styling means that it will be visually difficult to differentiate both the motorcycles. The only difference between both the bikes is that the GT250R has been equipped with a chrome exhaust system unlike the matte black one found on its 650cc sibling.
Sadly no mechanical changes have been made and the new GT250R just gets revised styling. It will be powered by a 249cc, oil-cooled mill churning out 28PS at 10,000rpm and torque rating of 22Nm at 8,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six speed gearbox. The new Hyosung GT250R is available in Red Titanium, White Titanium and Black Titanium colour options and each of which will be available in three tone shade. Bookings for the new facelifted Hyosung GT250R has started. Gladly though, Hyosung hasn't revised the pricing and the new bike has been priced at Rs 2.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
