Pictures of an imminent upgraded version of the Honda Aviator have surfaced on the Internet.
As evident in the pictures, the facelifted Honda Aviator appears to look slimmer and leaner with some design changes - to the front as well as to the rear section.
Prominent changes include a revised front apron and headlight. The chrome bits on the apron have been replaced with blinkers and the headlight cluster looks like a newly designed one too.
The side profile gets an exposed tail section reminiscent of Honda’s step-through motorcycles in South East Asian markets, and the scooter gets new tail lights and a more slender grab rail than the existing model.
The current 109.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine is expected to be retained in the facelifted version, equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET).
The wheels though seem larger than the current Aviator, and although no mechanical upgrades are expected, we won’t be surprised to see start-stop technology in the upgraded Aviator. Honda has been quietly working on start-stop technology and could well integrate this in new scooter models as well as upgrades on existing ones.
