Honda officially released an image of the 2015 CR-V and although it has a different design, it retains the CR-V DNA that we know so well. The Japanese car manufacturer first launched the CR-V in the mid-90’s and since then has done well to bring in an updated model in every four-five years.
This time round though, Honda seems to have upped the pace and has given it a refresh just couple of years since its last update. The 2015 Honda CR-V gets a new grille with a chrome bar at the bottom that nicely blends into the LEDs Daytime Running Lights. It also gets a larger front bumper that houses the new fog lamps. The wheels and the ORVM casing have been redone as well. While these changes are evident from the photo that Honda has released, how the new CR-V looks from the back and on the inside is still a mystery.
Honda claims that the revised look "portends the significant enhancements made to the 2015 CR-V". Honda will release further information about the 2015 CR-V on September 30, before it goes on sale in the international market the next day.
Expect the 2015 Honda CR-V to hit the Indian market early next year. Like the other Honda models on sale, the new CR-V too is likely to be launched with petrol and diesel engine options.
