Mitsubishi gives the Pajero a much needed makeover
2015 Mitsubishi Pajero

Mitsubishi has introduced the facelifted Pajero in Japan with minor upgrades to its design and interiors. The Pajero now gets a twin-slat front grille with vertical chrome bars that stretch right up to the bumpers. Besides that, the higher end variants also get LED daytime-running lights and a new spare tyre cover.

On the inside too, the changes aren’t many. The dashboard gets subtle metallic trimmings. The VRII variants get new piano black accents while the Exceed and Super Exceed sport wooden grain trim. The new Mitsubishi Pajero also gets more sound insulating materials on the door panels and the dashboard for improved NVH levels.

Under the hood, the Pajero will continue to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The 3.0-litre V6 petrol powered Pajero pumps 179PS of power and 261Nm of torque while the 3.2-litre turbo diesel mill churns 190PS of power and 441Nm of torque.

Launched in Japan, Mitsubishi doesn’t sell the Pajero in our market.
