Range Rover Evoque convertible officially unveiled

The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner and most carmakers across the world are busy teasing their concepts to build a hype around their brand. Land Rover has released the first teaser image of the 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift which will be revealed in full guise on the Geneva podium.
The teaser image reveals that the 2016 Evoque will get new full LED adaptive headlamps. The company claims that the headlights will be capable of providing ‘superior illumination in dark conditions,’ following the curves of the road.
Land Rover has also announced that the SUV will come with a new engine line-up, new safety and convenience features, and interior enhancements. The 2016 Range Rover Evoque is expected to get the four-cylinder Ingenium family of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines sourced from the Jaguar XE and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
In India, the Evoque is currently offered with a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 188PS of power and 420Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
More details on this updated SUV will be revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show on March 3, 2015.
