The 2016 edition of Rider Mania which concluded on Sunday, 20th November, 2016, witnessed the largest turnout ever since its inception. The Rider Mania was a three-day motorcycling show that took place in Vagator, Goa and was organised by Royal Enfield. It entertained thousands of motorcycling enthusiast from India and across the globe.

Commenting on the 2016 Rider Mania, Rudratej Singh, president, Royal Enfield said, “We are seeing more Royal Enfield riders coming into Goa to celebrate Rider Mania which has become one of the most definitive festivals that celebrates motorcycling, anywhere in the world. It is an extremely desirable challenge we face every year and we can happily say that like every year, Rider Mania 2016 has again had more number of participants than its previous editions making Rider Mania 2016 more inclusive and interactive. It is camaraderie and the passion for motorcycling that makes our customers our real brand managers and it is our privilege to interact and share experiences with them. I would like to invite more customers from India and abroad to come to Rider Mania 2017, next year, that will be held from 17 - 19 November at Vagator, Goa”

2016 Royal Enfield Rider Mania

Attendees of the 2016 Rider Mania also witnessed the debut of Riding school STRE (She Travels on a Royal Enfield), a program where women learn to ride bikes. There were a lot of fun and competitive events that were held during these three days. Here's a list of the contests and the winners:

- Dirt Track Racing in which participants in their special race-tuned motorcycles raced to the finish line through the dusty, uneven race track.

- A special Himalayan category was introduced for the first time ever in which Sanjay Kumar won the first ever Himalayan Men’s Expert category dirt track race and Salman Khan was the winner of Men's Himalayan Novice category.

- The 500cc category (men's) was won by Omkar Budhale and Suhail Ahmed in the 500cc Novice category.

- The 350cc category (women) was won by Rinku Tahare.

- The ultimate ‘Race of Champions’ was won by Suhail Ahmed.

- Art at Rider Mania - motorcycling-inspired art was held for the first time and included events such as helmet art, tank paintings and 3D canvas creations.

Last, but not the least, was the popular custom bike display, which is apparently one of the biggest attractions of the event. The custom bike section included various bike builders (old to new) who had put up their custom offerings on display through this platform.
