The day has arrived. Bajaj has officially launched the 2018 Discover range of commuter motorcycles - the Bajaj Discover 110 and the Bajaj Discover 125. Along with it, the Chakan-based manufacturer also showcased its 2018 range of models. This includes the updated Bajaj Avenger range, new colour schemes for the Bajaj Dominar 400, and a minor update for the Bajaj V15.
The Bajaj Discover 110 is powered by a rebored version of the existing 102cc engine that is seen on the Bajaj Platina Comfortec. This 110cc engine produces 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm of torque. In terms of features, the Discover 110 now gets a semi-digital instrument cluster and LED DRLs. The Discover 110 borrows a lot of elements like the frame, suspension, wheels and bodywork from its elder sibling, the Bajaj Discover 125. It is priced at Rs 50,176 (ex-showroom Delhi) and competes against the likes of the TVS Victor and the Hero Splendor iSmart 110.
Changes on the Bajaj Discover 125, on the other hand, are minor in comparison with the powertrain and mechanical bits remaining unchanged. Powering the Discover 125 is a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 11PS of power and 10.8Nm of torque. However, the motorcycle now gets a semi-digital instrument cluster and LED DRLs. The Bajaj Discover 125 competes against the likes of Honda CB Shine and Hero Glamour 125. It is now priced at Rs 53,171 (ex-showroom Delhi) for Drum variant and Rs 55,994 (ex-showroom Delhi) for Disc brake variant.
