The 2020 Honda City has been spotted testing undisguised for the first time in the country. This comes a day after the car was to be officially revealed, an event that got postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus scare. Does the India-spec sedan look similar to the international-spec City which made its debut in November 2019? Let’s find out.
The India-spec City seen here looks largely similar to the international model. The rear end comes with sleek split LED tail lamps which look similar to the BMW 3 Series. Also new are the revised tailgate and new bumpers which house the reflectors. The City also gets India-specific changes like the new alloy wheel design. Meanwhile, the front end will come with a familiar Honda chrome grille flanked by sleek LED headlamps.
Inside, the India-spec City will come with a black-beige interior. The dashboard is expected to be similar to the international-spec model with a minimalist layout. Honda could add more piano black and aluminium inserts to uplift the ambience.
