  • Apart from the new Limited Edition colour scheme, the scooter remains unchanged mechanically.
  • Interestingly, Honda has not mentioned anything about the new scooter complying with Euro 5/BS6 emission norms.
  • Honda plans to launch a CKD version of the Forza 300 at a more competitive price, likely by the end of 2020.
  • Honda Forza 300 new front

Honda has unveiled the 2020 Forza 300 in Europe. While we expected it to come with a Euro 5/BS6 compliant engine, it still disappointingly retains the same Euro 4/BS4-compliant powerplant as before. For the 2020 model, the changes are merely cosmetic. It comes in a new Limited Edition variant with 'Air Force’ Grey dual-tone colour.

The scooter is draped in grey and gloss black dual-tone paint. Complementing the premium feel, it also comes with red stitching in the leather seat, red rim tapes, and a new Forza 300 logo. It can also be had with an optional, colour coded and removable 45-litre top box. Apart from these changes, the rest of the scooter pretty much remains unchanged.

    New Forza 300 side

Honda had already delivered a few units of the Forza 300 in India but they were brought into the country via the CBU route to gauge the response from customers. The company plans to launch the scooter at a more competitive price via the CKD route, presumably by the end of 2020. That means it will have to be upgraded to comply with Euro 5/BS6 emission norms. The upcoming CKD-spec Honda Forza 300 could be priced around Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re wondering how we arrived at this number, check this out.

    Forza 300 rear

The BS6-compliant version of the Honda Forza 300 is likely to make slightly less power or torque compared to the current 25.1PS and 27.2Nm BS4-compliant engine. Notable features include traction control, all-LED lighting system, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Here’s more about the scooter.
