Tata Motors has launched the BS6-compliant Nexon facelift in India with prices starting at Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the petrol and diesel engines of the Tata Nexon have been upgraded to meet stringent emission norms. Apart from that, the Nexon BS6 also sports a cosmetic update and plenty of feature additions to keep it relevant in the sub 4-metre SUV segment.
Exterior Design - Stylish?
First things first, the facelifted Nexon’s exterior design is similar to its EV sibling. This is no bad thing as the Nexon EV is quite a looker. At the front, the Nexon comes with an upright nose that houses the new grille and sleek LED headlamps. The bumper is also new and comes with new fog lamp housings and silver inserts. Changes to the profile and rear are limited to the new 8-spoke alloy wheels and tail lamps, a direct lift from the Nexon EV. Overall, the styling updates have made the Nexon looks more SUV-like than its predecessor.
Interior Design - Richer?

Inside, the facelifted Nexon’s dashboard layout remains identical to the pre-facelift model though plenty of new elements freshen up the design and ambience. The interiors feature a black-beige colour combination while the dashboard’s centre trim is finished in a light cream shade. It also utilises the Altroz’ sleek 3-spoke steering wheel while the digital instrument cluster is a straight lift from the Tiago.
