The upcoming bike was recently spotted at dealerships ahead of its official unveiling

The Benda 2021 BD300 cruiser bike was recently spotted in a few showrooms in China, hinting at its imminent launch. This is the first update for the BD300, also called Jinjira 300, which officially broke cover in the Chinese market in 2020. Recently, Benda also launched the BD300 in Italy.

For 2021, Benda has opted for subtle tweaks, rather than a complete overhaul. Compared to the 2020 model, the new iteration gets a reworked tank, new alloy wheels, a wider 130-section front tyre (the previous model had a 120-section one), and a bigger 16-inch wheel at the rear. Besides, the new Benda 300cc cruiser has switched to twin exhausts, making it more appealing and premium than its competition.

Other changes we can notice are broader footpegs, a more accommodating seat, and black finish on the handlebar -- all of which make it more likeable than the outgoing model.

Apart from these bits, the mechanicals and features seem unchanged. It still employs a belt-driven 298cc V-twin motor that puts out 30.5PS and 26Nm, paired to a 6-speed transmission.

The BD300 gets all-LED illumination and a digital LCD instrument cluster. Suspension duties are handled by a USD fork and twin gas shocks while braking is via single disc brakes.

Lastly, like before, the 2021 Benda BD300 is expected to be offered in two variants: Jinjira Standard and King Gila High Edition. Expect both to bear marginal price hikes. While it won’t come to India anytime soon, the new BD300 will go up against the QJMotor 300cc cruiser, which could hit Indian shores disguised as the smallest Harley-Davidson cruiser.
