2021 Bentley Bentayga Facelift Launched: Sharper Looks And More Tech!

The 2021 Bentley Bentayga, which debuted back in July 2020, has been launched in India at Rs 4.10 crore. This uber luxurious SUV is offered with a sole V8 petrol motor but the W12 could be introduced later. The SUV comes with a host of cosmetic as well as technological updates. Let’s take a look:

The Bentayga looks sharper and more opulent than before. It now features Bentley’s latest crystal-like LED headlamps with Matrix functionality. These flank a new and larger grille that can be blacked out for a sportier look. Even the bumpers get more aggressive air intakes for extra attention. On the other end, the LED tail lamps get ‘Continental GT’ like detailing and a redesigned tailgate with the number plate positioned on the bumper.   

On the inside, the Bentayga comes with a redesigned central console featuring a new 10.9-inch infotainment system with connected car tech and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The sense of occasion is further enhanced by the top-notch materials, including pure aluminium and wood finishes. It also gets a Breitling timepiece for that extra but of grandeur. 

Rear occupants are delighted with ventilated seats and a new 5-inch tablet to control certain features. An optional 20-speaker 1,780W Naim sound system can be added for a superior audio experience. 

The facelifted Bentayga retains its creamy smooth 4.0-litre V8 motor that churns out 550PS of power and 770Nm of torque. Power is directed to all four corners via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This luxury barge goes 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds and maxes out at 290kmph. Sure, these figures ain’t as fast as the W12 that was on offer before, but it’s quick enough.
