Royal Enfield’s popular roadster will make its debut in India next week
(Update: The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been launched in India. Head here to read the launch story.)

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been one of the most-awaited launches of the year and over the course of the last year, we have seen plenty of spy shots, with no news of the launch. However, Royal Enfield has sent us a Block Your Date invite for September 1 with the silhouette of a bike that seems to be the 2021 Classic 350.

The 2021 Classic 350 will be the second motorcycle to spawn from the J platform that Royal Enfield introduced with the Meteor 350. So, expect the same counterbalanced 349cc, single-cylinder engine from the Meteor and is likely to produce the same 20.4PS and 27Nm.

A leaked video showed that the new Classic 350 sports an updated instrument console, with a digital inlay for tripmeter, fuel gauge and the odometer. Some mules were also spotted with the Tripper navigation pod, suggesting that the pod could be offered as an accessory under RE’s extensive Make-it-Yours catalog.

Going by the spy shots, Royal Enfield could continue to offer the bike in two variants with rear drum or disc brake. With the latter, the bikemaker may offer multiple alloy wheel options, some of which have been spotted testing on a few occasions.

Currently, the Classic 350 has been priced between Rs 1.79 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh, and with the new bike, the prices could be bumped up by Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 depending on the colour variant. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will lock horns with the Benelli Imperiale 400, the Jawa, and the Honda H’Ness CB350.
