Royal Enfield offers the 2021 Classic 350 in both drum and disc variants
Yesterday, Royal Enfield took the wraps off the 2021 Classic 350. The iconic thumper has received substantial updates while retaining its retro DNA. But what makes it stand out? Here’s your answer.
Subtle Design Changes
Following the “don’t fix what’s not broken” mantra Royal Enfield has kept the 2021 Classic 350’s design largely similar to the older model. It sports a round headlight with a halogen bulb and the same bodywork overall. However, it does see subtle changes like a clear lens at the front, new nacelle, badging, fender and new side panels.

New Motor
One of the major talking points for the new Classic 350 has to be its motor. The 349cc, air-cooled single-cylinder unit has been borrowed from the Meteor 350 and develops 20.2PS and 27Nm. But it gets a different tune.
New Features
Seizing the opportunity, the company has also updated the bike’s instrument console. No, it doesn’t get a fancy TFT or such. What it gets is a digital inset for the fuel gauge and other readouts. Moreover, the bikemaker also offers the Tripper navigation dial as an optional accessory on the updated model.
Revised Ergos and Underpinnings
The already comfortable ergonomics have now been bumped up a notch. The bike now features a new rider and pillion seat with more cushion. It’s suspended on a thicker 41mm telescopic fork and twin rear springs. Even the braking hardware has been upgraded to ByBre units with a 300mm front and a 270mm rear disc.
Price
Royal Enfield offers the 2021 Classic 350 at Rs 1.84 lakh onwards. You can choose from as many as five variants, with the Chrome being the most expensive at Rs 2,15,118 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
