Indian Motorcycle is planning to launch an entry-level Scout Bobber Sixty, according to some reports. The upcoming motorcycle is likely to be powered by the same 1000cc V-Twin motor as seen on the Scout Sixty, instead of the 1133cc motor that powers the Scout Bobber.

As per the rumours, the 1000cc -- and possibly Euro 5/BS6-compliant -- motor makes 77.5PS at 7300rpm and 88Nm at 5000rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox instead of a six-speeder seen on the bigger motorcycle. The top speed of the motorcycle is limited to 120mph (193kmph).
Indian Motorcycle hasn’t released any images yet, but if reports are to be believed the upcoming motorcycle looks identical to the Scout Bobber. In fact, even the dimensions of the two motorcycles are the same. Interestingly, at 250kg, Indian has managed to make the new Scout Bobber Sixty 11kg lighter than the motorcycle on which it is based.

What else do we know about the upcoming Scout Bobber Sixty? Apart from the engine specs, not much. There’s no word about its launch/unveiling, but with the Daytona Bike Week set to commence in a few weeks, we might just get to see the motorcycle.
