While the carmaker has only revealed a drawing, we can already tell what to expect. The V12 Speedster will be an open cockpit two-seater sports car that takes design inspiration from two open-cockpit cars - the 1959 24 Hours of LeMans-winning DBR1 and the Centenary CC100 Concept showcased in 2013.
As the name suggests, it will be powered by a 5.2-litre V12 twin-turbo engine that delivers 700PS of power and 700Nm of torque. All this power will be sent to the rear wheels via a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. Considering it is inspired by a legendary LeMans winner, it would have been a nice throwback if the V12 Speedster was paired with a manual gearbox. While the carmaker is yet to reveal further technical details, it has claimed that the V12 Speedster will be a driver-focused car combined with technology borrowed from the world of aviation and motorsport.
