Aston Martin is known for some of the most gorgeous looking cars on this planet. And the brand has been religiously following it to this very day, look at the DBS Superleggera Volante or the mother of all shooting brakes -- the Vanquish Zagato. But, it’s not just sex-appeal or all-show-and-no-go as the British carmaker is also one of the select few to offer three-pedals on a supercar today. And yes, the DBX SUV is also inbound and soon to be unveiled. But Aston Martin is now foraying into an all new segment which has nothing to do with four wheels or high-capacity V12s. The British brand will collaborate with Brough Superior to create limited edition motorcycles.
The first product of this venture will be showcased at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan on 5 November, 2019. Brough Superior is an old English motorcycle brand that was revived in 2013. Main highlights from Brough’s resume include fusing classic design with modern mechanicals to craft bikes with the finest materials. The upcoming motorcycle is a combined vision of Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Executive Vice President, and Brough Superior’s CEO Thierry Henriette.
Technical details about the motorcycle are yet to be revealed, but Aston Martin has released a sketch to make the wait worthwhile. We can safely speculate that the motorcycle will ooze with charisma and be limited in numbers. Being the first motorcycle to carry the Aston Martin badge, we are eagerly waiting for the same to break cover. Tune in to ZigWheels for a comprehensive coverage of this year’s EICMA.
