Audi gets 125 bookings for new Q3 S on day 1

Audi set a benchmark in the industry by receiving 125 bookings for the Audi Q3 S Edition on the first day of its launch. The company has introduced an innovative online booking process for the SUV for an initial booking amount of Rs 50,000. Audi made it clear that the SUV could be booked only through the online channel and not at dealerships.

With booking info available in real time, it was astonishing to see demand for the Q3 S Edition soar with Audi claiming to receive a new booking every minute within the first 30 minutes of the sale going live.

"We are not surprised with the response that we have received. Audi has been a leader in the luxury SUV segment in India. The response today further reinforces our leadership position in this segment. The Audi Q3 S Edition offers our fans a new way to connect with their favorite brand and we hope to expand our customer base with this new product,” said, Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.

“Today we also set a new paradigm in marketing innovation with the launch of the Audi online booking engine, India’s first booking engine for a luxury car brand. This innovative and path-breaking online booking engine will help us in further connecting with our customers wherever they are,” added Michael.

The launch coincided with the inauguration of Audi Delhi Central, the company's third showroom in Delhi; an entirely new concept based on the Central Business District concept. Inside, Audi has provided a bar to woo its customers and the omission of desks makes the showroom feel more like a lounge.
