Audi AG has taken its after-sales service department to the next level to offer maximum flexibility to its customers. Audi Service Gurgaon is the largest workshop in India for the brand and has started round-the-clock workshop operations. This initiative is possibly the first of its kind to be introduced in the luxury car industry. By having the workshop open throughout the night, it will give the car owners the flexibility to drop-off the vehicle after office hours as per their convenience. It will also help the workshop to increased productivity and reduce its turnaround time.
Speaking on the new service addition, Joe King, Head, Audi India, said “Customer experience is at the forefront of what we do at Audi and a great service experience is vital towards that. Audi Service Gurgaon has taken the lead in activating round-the-clock operations for the benefit of our customers. We are sure that this along with other initiatives that we are taking will strengthen our customer satisfaction efforts.”
The 24x7 service of the workshop will have 3 shifts to insure smooth and efficient operation. Each shift will have skilled and well trained technicians working on the vehicles along with managers who will take over the work handled by the previous shift. With the addition of new shift, the productivity of the workshop is expected to increase by 30 per cent.
The Audi dealership has a combined area of 26,000 sq.ft for the sales and service departments. The showroom can comfortably accommodate 33 cars at one time. The workshop has full digitization operations and features 14 dedicated service bays.
