Audi TT Sportback concept to debut at Paris Motor Show

A design sketch of the upcoming Audi TT Sportback concept has been leaked suggesting a future production model

Audi has recently been building several body styles on its new TT platform. Ranging from crossovers to shooting brakes, the TT platform is proving to be quite the versatile one. Now, Audi has prepared what seems to be yet another concept car based on the TT, this time a 4-door sedan.

The sleek and elegant 4-door Audi TT sportback is said to measure about 4.5-metres in length offering enough room for its rear passengers. Reports also suggest that the sportback will not be a form over function automobile but also a practical one with a large-ish boot and the option of folding down the rear seats for upto 850-litres of cargo space.

Although not much is known about the Audi TT Sportback concept as of now, expect the car to hit production in the next few years and be powered by a host of petrol and diesel engines. We also expect the Audi TT Sportback to eventually make it to India and go up against the likes of other 4-door coupes like the BMW 4 Series GranCoupe and the rumored Mercedes-Benz mid-size coupe too.

The Audi TT Sportback coupe will be showcased starting October 2 at the Paris Motor Show where Audi will also bring the recently unveiled 2015 TT & TT S Roadster.
