Bajaj has reopened registrations for the Chetak electric scooter, however, online bookings are only open for Pune and Bengaluru for a token amount of Rs 2,000.
Bajaj offers the Chetak in two variants: Premium and Urbane. The asking price for the Premium is set at Rs 1,44,987 whereas the Urbane costs Rs 1,42,988 (ex-showroom). Customers can visit the official Chetak website to reserve the scooter.
The Chetak doesn’t make the cut for the Fame 2 subsidies, which makes it substantially more expensive than the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, and even electric motorcycles such as the Revolt RV400.
If you’re still keen on getting the Chetak, check out our road test review which will help you make an informed decision.
