The new pricing does not include the FAME II subsidy
Last month, Bajaj revised the prices of the Chetak range but that wasn’t it. The two-wheeler giant has once again increased the prices of its electric scooter offering. This time around, the asking price sees quite a significant bump. Here’s the new ex-showroom pricing:
Model |
New Price |
Old Price |
Difference |
Urbane |
Rs 1,42,620 |
Rs 1,15,000 |
Rs 27,620 |
Premium |
Rs 1,44,000 |
Rs 1,20,000 |
Rs 24,000 |
The new pricing is applicable only for bookings made on the 13th and 14th of April. Right now, bookings have been halted. The latest pricing for the Bajaj Chetak was displayed via a pop-up notification during the online booking process.

The revised asking price does not include the FAME II subsidy. Once the subsidy is granted, expect the prices to go down by approximately Rs 25,000, making the Bajaj Chetak a tad affordable. It is now just Rs 2,000 cheaper than the Ather 450X.
Like all other major manufacturers, Bajaj too has revised prices to offset commodity costs and taxes. Sadly, the scooter is still sold only in Pune and Bengaluru. Hopefully, Bajaj expands its reach and brings the Chetak to other cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai as well.
