The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is all-set to get a BS6 update. It will now cost Rs 1,43,750 (ex-showroom Mumbai). That’s a price hike of Rs 1,632 over its BS4 predecessor. Some Bajaj dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the Pulsar RS200 BS6. The updated bikes will reach Bajaj dealerships later this month.

Apart from a BS6 motor, the Pulsar RS200 does not receive any cosmetic or feature updates. It gets twin projector headlamps, LED tail lamp, LED turn indicators, and a semi-digital instrument console. The new motorcycle is also expected to make similar power as the BS4 Pulsar RS200. The BS4 liquid-cooled and fuel-injected 199.5cc motor delivers 24.5PS and 18.6Nm.
The underpinnings remain unchanged as well. It gets a perimeter frame with conventional forks and gas-charged monoshock. Braking is via a 300mm disc and 230mm disc. The Pulsar RS200 was updated with a dual-channel ABS setup in November last year. This feature has been carried over to the BS6 version.
The new Pulsar RS200 BS6 will compete with the BS4 Yamaha Fazer 25 (Rs 1,43,680) and BS6 KTM RC 200 (Rs 1,96,128).
