Bajaj V15 Future Uncertain; V12 To Be Revived?

Bajaj Auto has launched the V15 with a new colour option. The bike till now was available in only two colour options - Pearl White and Ebony Black. The new colour option will not have any price change and will continue to be sold at Rs 62,202 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Apart from the new colour addition, the bike does not receive any other significant changes. The motorcycle is powered by a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled DTS-i engine that produces 12PS of power and 13Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13-litres and is claimed by the manufacturer to return a mileage of 55kmpl in real world conditions.
The Bajaj V15 is premium commuter motorcycle with some noteworthy features like analog-digital instrument cluster with colour changing LED indications for the fuel guage, removable rear cowl, split 5-spoke alloy wheels, stubby exhaust, premium textured seat, wide handlebar, LED tail lamp unit, and chunky tyres.
Bajaj Auto has been generating good sales figures with the V15. The company had managed to sell over 24,057 units of the V15 in the month of April 2016 and had also made it to the list of top-ten best-selling motorcycles for the same month.
