After unveiling the Leoncino Scrambler, Tornado 302, and TRK 502 at EICMA, Benelli has two more offerings up its sleeves
Benelli 750cc Twin - Profile

Benelli SpA is an Italian motorcycle manufacturing company that is owned by Chinese company Qianjiang Group. It seems that Benelli is set to revamp its product range in the next few years. The company had unveiled the Leoncino Scrambler, Tornado 302, and TRK 502 at EICMA in Italy that are likely to be introduced by the end of this year. Now, two new images have been leaked which tell us of the next offerings the company has lined up for 2017.

Benelli 750cc Twin

Benelli 750cc Twin:

Although this model is likely to be a prototype it will not largely differ from the production-spec version of the motorcycle. The main highlight of the bike is the new 750cc parallel-twin water-cooled engine. There are no details of the specifications yet but being a 750cc powerplant we can assume the power output to be around the 100PS mark.

The bike features a new trellis frame and a tubular swingarm. The overall styling of the bike has smooth contours and it does look nice. The motorcycle might be designed in Italy, but the production is likely to be carried out in China. The new bike will join Benelli's TNT range and could get the name of TNT 750 when unveiled officially.

Benelli 900cc Triple

Benelli 900cc Triple:

This leaked image has several similarities to the existing motorcycles sold by the brand. The styling is very familiar to the TNT R model that has an 1130cc engine. Next is the powerplant which is the same 899cc unit that is used in the TNT 899. Benelli has opted for a single radiator instead of the dual side-mounted units on the TNT. The engine is expected to receive some updates as it has been used by Benelli since a long time.

The bike gets a new trellis frame, split seats, and a large exhaust that is likely due to Euro IV norms. The production model will get a much smaller muffler with the exhaust collector and catalytic converter located ahead of the rear wheel.

Taking into consideration that, the same engine is carried being ahead -- and also the usage of in-house branded braking system – there’s a possibility that the new model will be priced lower to make it more affordable for buyers.

With time, we should receive more details of the new products Benelli has to offer in the market. It is anticipated that the unveiling of these two motorcycles will be held at the next EICMA motorcycle show in 2016.
