Someone made use of the pandemic quarantine and came up with this beautifully bespoke British bike

Luxury car manufacturers creating motorcycles isn’t a new thing. Ferrari made a one-off motorcycle in the 1990s and more recently, Aston Martin collaborated with legendary British bikemaker Brough Superior to make the track-only motorcycle, the AMB 001. This made a lot of enthusiasts wonder, what if Bentley decided to make one? Enter the Bentley Hooligan Concept.

French Industrial designer Thomas Angebault made mighty good use of the coronavirus pandemic quarantine and came up with this outlandish rendering. Of course, it had to be in the quintessential British Racing Green! The hubless front wheel is actuated by a complex hub-steering-like setup linked to the wheel rim. The rear swingarm is connected to a linked gas-charged monoshock. Thomas has made the visual mass at the rear a bit meatier to give a neat contrast to the sleek front end. So the rear end uses a solid wheel with fat rubber.

The front end of the bike seems to be inspired from the Bentley Blower No. 1 from the 1920s with a bit of futuristic flair thrown in, courtesy the sleek circular LED headlights. The ergonomics is properly aggressive thanks to the low-set handlebars and rear-set foot pegs. It also gets a quilted leather seat, presumably made from the finest leather that Bentley’s cars use. The powertrain is imagined to be an all-electric unit. We reckon a 200-odd PS motor should do proper justice to such a modern concept.

Bentley side

Bentley seems to be healthily adapting to the changes in trends (read Bentayga), so it would serve well for the British marque to come up with an exclusive motorcycle for the uber rich folks. And if it ever does, this rendering is where they should probably start from. What do you guys think?
