Bajaj is the only Indian bikemaker to successfully transition from being a scooter manufacturer to producing just motorcycles. It was a bold move given that scooters occupy a substantial part of the two-wheeler pie. They have had a successful run so far and even collaborated with Austrian bikemaker KTM. This collaboration not only helped get us bikes like the Duke 390, It also gave Bajaj access to KTM’s technology and get us bikes like the Dominar 400 and Pulsar RS 200. Bajaj bikes today offer a lot in terms of performance, technology, and VFM. The bikes also come in a vast range of colour options, and we’re here today to help you pick the best ones. Let’s get started.
Dominar 400:
The Dominar comes in three colour options: Rock Matte Black, Glacier Blue and Canyon Red. The frame, exhaust and suspension parts are painted in black while the alloy wheels get a gold finish. While the Blue and Red are gloss colours, the Black one comes with a matte finish and gives the bike a stealth look. For that, the Rock Matte Black is our choice of colour for the Dominar 400. We wish Bajaj offered matte black wheels at least as an option to complete the stealth look.
Pulsar RS 200:
The only fully faired offering from Bajaj comes in three two-tone colours: Racing Red (Red/White), Racing Blue (Blue/White) and Graphite Black (Grey/Black). It's a shame that Bajaj discontinued the Yellow colour option as that one made the bike look properly sporty. Nevertheless from the current colour pallete we would pick up the Graphite Black (Grey/Black) colour scheme as it looks sophisticated and does not call for attention as much as the other two.
Pulsar NS 200:
The 200cc naked is offered in three two-tone colours: Wild Red (Red/Silver), Graphite Black (Black/Silver) and Mirage White (White/Silver). Of these options, Mirage White (White/Silver) offers a nice contrast against the blacked out engine and wheels and is our pick of the lot for the NS 200.
Avenger Cruise 220:
Earlier this year, Bajaj updated the Avenger series and brought in a new colour called Moon White. The other paint option is Auburn Black. The Moon White paint scheme has a pearlescent shade that looks good during the daytime and stands out more than Auburn Black. That's why Moon White is our colour of choice for the Avenger Cruise 220.
Bajaj V15:
The 150cc commuter form Bajaj comes in three colours: Ebony Black (Black with Red Stripes), Ocean Blue (Blue with White stripes) and Heroic Red (Red with Black stripes). Of this, Ocean Blue (Blue with White stripes) is our colour of choice for the V15 thanks to its unique blue shade that makes the panel stand out and the white stripes that offer the right contrast.
