With the festive season nearing, we’re sure there will be more than a few of you in the market for a brand new two-wheeler, and maybe a Hero branded one at that. Technicalities and pricing aside, if you’re facing trouble in making a decision, here are some colours the Xtreme 200R, Splendor iSmart+, Maestro Edge and others look good in, according to us.
Hero Xtreme 200R
While the Hero Xtreme 200R may not be as performance-oriented as its peers, it is still the sportiest motorcycle in Hero's lot. To put emphasis on the latter, Hero offers the bike in five colours: Grey with Orange, Black with Sports Red, Sports Red, Black with Silver and Blue. While all the colours do offer quite a distinctive look to the motorcycle, our pick would be the 'Sports Red' option. The blacked-out theme on the engine, exhaust and wheels, along with the red contrast on the fuel tank, gives the motorcycle a sporty look.
Hero Splendor iSmart+
Back in the day owning a utilitarian motorcycle meant compromising on styling and design. Thankfully, that seems to be, as we mentioned, a thing of past. You don't have to look further than the Hero Splendor iSmart+ to know what we're talking about. While yes, it can't be called "sporty" by any stretch of the imagination, the motorcycle does manage to catch some eyeballs thanks to the five colours it is offered in: blue, red, green and black. Out of these, if we had to pick one, it'd be the 'Techno Blue' colour option, just because it looks far more attention-grabbing than the other colours. Pair that with Hero's i-Smart fuel efficiency technology and dare we say, you'll have a true blue commuter on your hands?
Hero Maestro Edge
Scooters are all the rage these days. Not surprising then, you see so many of them on the road, indistinguishable from one another. Of these, if you are in the market to buy the Hero Maestro Edge, here's how you can stand out from the crowd. Available in 9 colour options - Night Star, Blue, Matte Grey, Matte Blue, Black, Silver, Red, Matte Grey and Red, Matte Grey and Blue - Hero offers the Maestro to suit almost everyone's palette. However, if we had to make a choice, it'd be the 'Techno Blue' paint scheme. Not only does it highlight the robust design of the Maestro, it also helps it stand out of the crowd. Not to mention, it strikes a perfect balance between subtlety and loud.
Hero Pleasure
Targeted towards the female audience, the Hero Pleasure is offered in Matte Grey and Red, Matte Grey and Yellow, Matte Grey and White, White, Red, Black and Grey. While most of them do manage to stand out, we found the Matte Grey/Red and the Matte Grey/Yellow colour scheme with graphics to be too flashy in their appearance. Hence, our pick is the Bold Black colour option. While the black colour gives it a stealthy look, the yellow-blue colour graphics helps in grabbing some eyeballs.
Hero Glamour Fi
One could always trust the Hero Glamour to add a bit of glamour to the mundane 125cc commuter space, be it with its big front mask, voluptuous tank or the graphics. What better way to enhance these features than to offer it in three sporty-ish colours - Red-Blue and Black with Red. Our pick here would be the 'Black with Sports Red' option, which adds a whizz of sportiness without being too in-your-face. Not to mention, the checkered graphics seamlessly blend into the blacked out fuel tank.
