BMW inaugurates new showroom in Pune

Located in the heart of the city, the new Bavaria Motors showroom is large enough to display up to 6 cars in an urban street display style

Barely a week after the grand inauguration of its massive showroom in Goa, BMW India has now just gotten itself a swanky new address in the city of Pune. Re-locating from its original location near Sadhu Vaswani Chowk BMW has now opened its new state-of-the-art showroom in Pune at Wellesley Road, Camp. 

The new showroom is far larger than the german car maker’s original dealership in the city, and can now comfortable display upto 6-7 cars. The design of the showroom is based upon BMW’s Reception at the Car (RATC) and Urban Street Display concept, which is a signature BMW layout with a consultation lounge and sales desk close to the display area.

Speaking at the inauguration of the new dealership in Pune, Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW India said, “Pune is clearly one of India’s most vibrant cities and hence is an important market for BMW.”

Mr. Vishal Agarwal, Managing Director, Bavaria Motors also present at the unveiling of the new dealership, further added, “We have been a BMW dealer partner since 2007 and this journey has been tremendously exciting and enriching for us. We look forward to providing high quality services to our growing clientele in Maharashtra.”

The new dealership currently employs 75 people and also promises to provide customers with customize services for their cars in the near future. As with their other dealerships spread across the country’s bustling metropolitans, BMW India has provided this new dealership in Pune with staff that has been intensively trained in management of sales, service, spare parts and business systems to ensure customers and their precious cars are well taken care of when visiting the dealership.

Apart from the inauguration of the new dealership in Pune that now becomes the luxury car maker’s 24th exclusive sales outlet in the country, BMW India has now also begun with the production of its new X3 model in India. Larger and more potent than its X1 compatriot, the BMW X3 SUV model will be launched by the company is the last quarter of 2011.
