The festive season is behind us but the offers keep rolling in. The latest is from BMW Motorrad, whose dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 4 lakh on its F 750 GS and F 850 GS models. These offers range from bikes being offered at their ex-showroom price on the road, to accessories being thrown in free of charge.
The Mumbai dealership is offering the F 750 GS, F 850 GS and F 850 GSA at ex-showroom prices on the road. This means that the cost of registration and insurance is being borne by the dealer. In the case of the F 850 GSA priced at Rs 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom), this means savings of close to Rs 4 lakh for the customer.
Other BMW dealerships across the country are offering cash discounts as well as free accessories on these GS models, with benefits ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.
These particular GS models are BS4-compliant and therefore must be sold before BS6 emission norms kick in on April 1 2020. This is why we are seeing BMW dealers offering such lucrative deals on these motorcycles. Updated BS6-compliant versions of all these models will arrive next year but it is not yet clear whether they will be launched before or after April 1.
Hence, there is the possibility that these bikes might be temporarily unavailable, and when they do come back as BS6 models they will be accompanied by a price hike. So if you are interested in purchasing a medium capacity BMW adventure tourer, now is the best time to buy one. You better hurry, though, because these offers are valid till November 30 or till stocks last.
