BMW India organised the xDrive Experience in Jaipur aimed at showcasing the off-road abilities of the German carmaker’s X-Series SUV line-up. Prospective customers were invited to experience the thrill of off-roading in a BMW SUV. The event consisted to a special sandy track peppered with a series of pits and hills of different depth and inclines that brought the off-road prowess of BMW’s SUVs to the fore.
Jaipur was the tenth city to host the event after cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, etc. BMW will be conducting the event in Raipur and Kolkata soon. The SUVs showcased at the Jaipur event included the X1, X3 and the X5. However, only the X3 and the X5 were available for the off-road driving experience. The drive was held under the supervision of BMW’s trained marshals to ensure the safety of both the customers and the SUVs.
Being in the SUV while the marshals took on the rough track and obstacles that were laid out on the course was not only enthralling, but also a great learning experience as we got to know the basics of off-roading and also the nitty gritties of BMWs X-Series of SUVs. The event highlighted the technology that gone in to make BMW X-Series of SUVs competent enough to take on challenges that nature throws at it.
