Austrian two-wheeler brand, Brixton Motorcycles, has added another offering to its 125cc lineup: the Rayburn 125. An amalgamation of retro looks with fairly modern tech, the Rayburn 125 is the company’s latest bobber-style motorcycle.
Packed in a fairly simple single-tube chassis is an air-cooled 125cc single-cylinder motor developing 11.14PS. The bike is suspended on a gaitered telescopic fork and dual rear shocks. For added comfort, the leather-covered rider’s seat gets a couple of springs below it.
The Rayburn 125 packs quite a decent set of features, including an LED headlight, LED turn indicators, a digital speedometer, and CBS (Combined Braking System) for safety.
The tank wears a neatly finished two-tone paint while the overall body is covered in matte black. Further adding to the old-school aesthetics and the practicality quotient, the Rayburn 125 gets a pair of luggage racks right below the rider’s seat.
It rolls on spoked wheels wrapped in chunky rubber while braking is via disc brakes at both ends. Brixton claims the Rayburn 125 weighs 134kg and offers a top speed of 99kmph.
The Rayburn 125 retails at EUR 3,099 (around Rs 2.75 lakh), a massive price difference compared to 125cc motorcycles in India. So the Rayburn 125 certainly won’t be heading here. However, if you are keen on getting a 125cc motorcycle, you can choose from the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125, KTM 125 Duke, KTM RC 125 or the more commuter-oriented Honda SP 125, Hero Glamour, and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
