Audi India's BS4 stock of the A4, A5, Q5 and Q7 has been sold out. All these models were available with both petrol (TFSI) and diesel (TDI) options. Earlier, the German carmaker had also revealed that the BS4 A3 and Q3 was sold out. It will soon replace these models with either a next-generation model change or an upgraded BS6 version.
We’ll soon be seeing the facelifted A4, A5 and the Q7 on our roads while the Q3 will be launched in its latest avatar. The 2020 A3 is currently available as a Sportback (read hatchback) and will make a comeback when the sedan version is introduced globally. The only model that could take a while is the Q5 as its successor is yet to arrive globally. Have a closer look at all of them by clicking the links below:
However, if you ‘ve fallen in love with diesel Audis and are expecting a BS6 diesel Audi, we’ve got grim news. The German carmaker will be taking the petrol/electric route in the BS6 era. That said, if demand for diesel cars persists in the BS6 era, we could see an Audi TDI hitting the road later.
Earlier, we had reported that Audi India is currently doing a portfolio revamp and will launch nine new models in the country. This has turned out to be true. Out of the nine, three new models have already hit the road: the A6, the Q8 flagship SUV and the recently launched A8L flagship sedan. The German carmaker will also launch the e-tron electric SUV in the coming months.
Now that Audi is coming back to India in full force, would you pick up the four rings over a BMW or Mercedes? Let us know in the comments section below.
