- CFMoto will launch the motorcycle with a larger 292cc motor in India and call it the 300SR.
- It is expected to come to India by April 2020.
- The 300SR is expected to be priced at Rs 2.5 lakh.
CFMoto will debut its 250SR entry-level faired sports bike at EICMA tomorrow. This KTM RC 200 rival is based on the 250NK naked motorcycle. The 250SR will come to India but with a larger motor from the 300SR, which CFMoto sells here instead of the 250NK.

The 250SR gets proper sports bike cred with sharp fairing, sporty windscreen and clip-on handlebars, courtesy the racier trim. It will also get a twin headlamp setup with LED lighting. The 250SR will most likely get the same frame and suspension setup as the 250NK save for the swingarm. While the 250NK gets a tubular swingarm, the faired 250SR has a box-section swingarm.
Earlier CFMoto has decided not to get the 250NK to India and instead got the larger 300NK. In the same vein, they will be getting a larger 300SR here instead of the 250SR. The difference between the two will be a larger 292cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor that delivers 28PS and 25Nm of torque.
While the CFMoto 250SR will see its world debut tomorrow at EICMA, the India-spec 300SR is expected to launch here by April 2020 and could be priced around the Rs 2.5-lakh mark. Stay tuned for more details tomorrow.
