Datsun Go NXT Launched at Rs 4.09 Lakh

It is that time of the year when car buyers are going to be showered with offers and limited editions. In order to cash in on the festive season, manufacturers give discounts and specials offers to potential buyers. The first car maker to make a move on this front is Datsun with the launch of the Go NXT Limited Edition. The Datsun Go NXT has been priced at Rs 4.09 lakh and Rs.4.27 lakh ex-showroom Delhi and Mumbai respectively. This Limited Edition Datsun Go NXT will only be on sale between August 2015 and December 2015. 

First let’s get the basics out of the way. Under the hood there will be no change and this limited edition Datsun Go NXT model will continue to sport the same 1.2-litre gasoline unit. In this state of tune it makes 68PS and 104Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. 

Now for the changes. The Go NXT is an extension of the top-end T variant and offers additional features like reverse parking sensors, remote central locking and a chrome exhaust tip. The interiors finish too has been changed and the Datsun Go NXT comes with piano black finish on the dashboard, meter console and around the gear lever. The Go NXT will get a rear parcel tray and side body mouldings as standard fitments as well. 

The Japanese car maker will also organise Datsun Carnivals at all its dealerships across South India. Each of these Carnivals will be a three-day event wherein the dealerships will be open till mid-night and customers can get a chance to win accessories worth Rs 3,500 to gold worth of Rs 12,000 with every purchase.
