On the occasion of the first anniversary of DSK-Benelli’s Bengaluru Showroom, DSK Motowheels has announced that the company has delivered 500 superbikes in the city. A success ride, on DSK Benelli bikes, was also organised to celebrate the achievement.
“There is a vibrant superbiking culture in the city, and its people have embraced DSK Benelli superbikes with great enthusiasm. We are delighted at recording delivery of 500 superbikes within a year,” said chairman of the company Shirish Kulkarni.
“The numbers exemplify the brand value and trust that DSK-Benelli exudes, and is a clear sign showcasing the acceptance of the brand by superbike enthusiasts across India as well,” he added.
The company has received more than 750 bookings in Bengaluru. This feat, it claimed, is the fastest for any superbike maker in India.
The DSK-Benelli showroom in Bengaluru, under the dealership of Vinayak Cars, flaunts the entire range of DSK Benelli motorcycles. Along with the TNT 25 and the TNT 300, the display also showcases the more powerful 600cc twins, the TNT 600i and TNT 600 GT. Among the bigger beasts are the TNT899 and the TNT1130R.
DSK-Benelli has enjoyed a successful entry into the Indian markets, testimony of which is the Bike manufacturer of the Year at the latest edition of the ZigWheels annual awards. The Italian manufacturer, in collaboration with DSK Motowheels, has carved a niche for itself with the sheer variety in its range of offerings.
After having brought everything from an entry-level streetbike to adventure tourers and performance naked bikes to India, the company will be adding more products to its portfolio in the country. Among these will be the TNT25, the Trek Amazonas, to be followed by the Tornado 300, the Trek 502, the BX 250 and the TNT naked T-135 that were unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this year.
