No, it does not run on diesel. The bike is a product of fashion and automotive design.

The Ducati Diavel Diesel edition was unveiled internationally at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017. An outcome of a collaboration between Ducati Design Centre and Andrea Rosso, Diesel fashion label's Creative Director, the limited edition Ducati will be available on special order and will set you back by Rs 19,92,000 (ex-Delhi).

Ducati says the Diavel Diesel is inspired by the dynamism of a post-apocalyptic future. It reflects in the brushed steel paint finish and exposed weld and rivets that make the Diavel look more menacing (if that were ever possible). The seat is plush leather that screams vintage luxury. There is a pyramid engraved on the seat that denotes the 3 D's - Ducati, Diesel and Diavel. The pyramids also feature on the front and rear mudguards as a 3D emblem that replaces the traditional Ducati logo.

There is leather on the air scoops cowl as well with a plaque made of methacrylate - a red polymer -, which has the Diesel logo engraved on it. The red colour also features on the front Brembo callipers and on five-chain links of the drive chain. The digital instrument console gets a red backlighting that gives off a vintage vibe. The twin exhausts get a black ceramic coating with billet machined end caps for that unique look. There is a plaque on the frame on both sides that includes the Ducati and Diavel logo with the words 'never look back' and the limited edition number inscribed.

Keeping with its fashion brand ethos, Diesel has come up with a fashion line exclusive for the Diavel Diesel called the Capsule collection. The apparel collection includes two Jogg jeans, a leather biker jackets and two t-shirts. The merchandise will hit Diesel stores worldwide by March-April. Ducati will make 666 units of the Diavel Diesel - a unique number. The number 666 is widely considered as the number of the Devil and the Diavel in Italian loosely translates to Devil. So there you have it. The Diavel Diesel is available on special order at all the Ducati dealerships across the country.
