Ducati India has opened its fifth dealership in the country’s biking capital, Pune. Spread over 4,500 acres, Bavaria Motors, located in the heart of Pune on Boat Club Road, will sell the entire range of Ducati motorcycles in the country, including the newly-launched 959 Panigale. The dealership also boasts of its own service facility on its premises.
We previously broke the exclusive news regarding the pricing of the new Multistrada Enduro 1200 and the XDiavel. To recap, the Multistrada Enduro 1200 will be priced at Rs 18.3 lakh, while the XDiavel will set you back by Rs 16.3 lakh. The even higher-spec Ducati XDiavel S, meanwhile, will retail for Rs 19.2 lakh (all ex-showroom, Pune). All these three motorcycles will also be available at Ducati’s Pune showroom, with pricing differing slightly.
The Ducati showroom under the name of Bavaria Motors is one of a chain of luxury brand showrooms in Pune and Goa. The brand has already earned a sterling reputation in the city for its dealerships of BMW cars. The Ducati dealership has a world-class service facility and a dedicated team of trained technicians equipped to ensure the same level of service delivered globally.
Speaking at the occasion, Ravi Avalur, MD, Ducati India, said: “Pune and its neighboring cities have some of the most passionate motorcyclists in the country and we are keen to bring to them a taste of the Authentic Italian Performance that Ducati offers. We believe our partnership with Bavaria Motors will help us deliver to the city a customer ownership experience that is consistent with our global standards.”
“We are delighted to partner with Ducati and bring the iconic brand to a region so passionate about motorcycles. Even before we started operations we have been overwhelmed with inquiries. With our experience in successfully working with premium clients in the luxury automobile sector, we will provide an unparalleled level of customer experience and service to the growing community of Ducatisti in Pune.” Vishal Agarwal, Managing Director, Bavaria Motors, added.
In its second outing in India after a disastrous debut, Ducati now has dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Pune, and Bangalore, and plans to expand across the country. Its product portfolio in the country includes the Monster range, the Diavel power cruiser, the Multistrada and Hypermotard family, and all four variants of the Scrambler. Super sports models like the recently unveiled 959 Panigale along with other superbikes like the 1299 Panigale, 1299 Panigale S and flagship Panigale R will also be available on order. Prices for the Ducati motorcycles start at INR 6,83,000 (ex-showroom Pune).
