Benelli’s TNT 600i has been fuelling inline-four buying aspirations for years. It was the most affordable way to get the aural delight of screaming four potter. But if you want to get a new one, you might have to wait for nearly a year. Yes, the updated TNT 600 will only arrive on our shores by mid-2021 after the 500cc models and the small-capacity bikes. This further delays the plans of newer models that Benelli planned to introduce into the Indian market. Bikes like the TRK 251, the Leoncino 800 or the proposed faired version of the TNT 600 are only going to turn up in India in the second half of 2021 or even early-2022.

Mechanically, the TNT 600 will retain the same powertrain and hardware as before. While certain variants of the bike launched abroad are equipped with fancy bits like Brembo monoblocs and Marzocchi suspension, for India, these trims might be given a miss to keep things in check. What you should be looking forward to is a brand new design language for the naked with LED lighting, a colour TFT dash, and keyless ignition.
The TRK 251 was supposed to arrive alongside the Leoncino 250 last year. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, the Italian brand couldn’t launch the small adventure motorcycle. Now, the bike will not be launched anytime soon and we could expect a decent wait for it. Nevertheless, it could just be the motorcycle that Benelli decides to bring in after the TNT 600 and hopefully it will be a worthy rival to the upcoming KTM 250 Adventure.
