Our sources suggest Benelli is all set to start the year with a bang! The brand plans to introduce the BS6 TRK 502 in India in the coming weeks, followed by a slew of new launches every one to one and a half months. The only Benelli bike available in the BS6 era from the Italians so far is the Imperiale 400. So here’s what you can expect from the company this year:
Benelli may start things off with the launch of the 500cc range which comprises the BS6 Leoncino 500 and the TRK range. Another motorcycle which may see the light of day in India is the 502C cruiser. It is the third motorcycle built on the 500cc parallel-twin platform. As we already know, the 500cc engine feels quite relaxed sustaining 100kmph, so the 502C could be the perfect long-distance cruiser you need. It's light and looks rather stylish too.
This could be followed by the thoroughly revised TNT 300 and the 302R/352R shortly after. The latter received a couple of new colours last year, making it a bit more appealing. And that’s just the first half.

Benelli’s 600cc range, consisting of the TNT 600 and the 600RR sportbike, could make its way down to India by the end of the year. The 600RR is Benelli's fully faired version of this TNT 600. It isn’t an out and out sportbike but rather a middle ground between a sportbike and a sports-tourer, something on the lines of the Kawasaki Ninja 650. We’ve covered each bike in detail with its expected price and launch timeline here.
