Facelifted Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 spied

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is one of the best entry level cars you can buy in India today and has long been due a facelift since its launch a few years ago. Recently, spy shots of an all-new version of the Alto K10 have surfaced which shows a radical departure from the older Alto’s simple yet beloved looks towards a more modern looking version reminiscent of the Alto 800.

The new car features a completely new front end, with a new set of headlamps, new bumper and a new grille. Even the bonnet seems slightly tweaked to tie up the whole package together. The new Alto K10 will also get a whole new rear with a new tail gate design, new tail lamps and a new bumper. The K10 will also get a dash of chrome both on the front and the rear with new accent pieces.

The new Alto K10 will mechanically be identical to the current generation car with one major difference. Maruti will now offer AMT technology in the K10 making it by far the cheapest automatic car in the country. The three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine making 68PS of peak power though will remain unchanged. The new K10 will also supposedly get more variants as compared to the current generation car.

Also expect an all-new interior with a fresh dashboard design and a new set of seats with more modern fabrics. The new Alto K10 might also possibly be equipped with a factory fitted infotainment system in the top of the line VXi variant.
