Tata Motors has launched the XPres-T, essentially the facelifted Tigor EV, at Rs 9.75 lakh. The electric sedan will be sold as part of Tata’s new XPres brand dedicated to offering mobility services for corporate and government fleet customers. The XPres-T is offered in two variants: XM+ and XZ+. The pre-facelift Tigor EV’s base-spec, XE, has now been discontinued.
Here are the prices:

XZ+ |

Rs 9.90 lakh |
As seen in the table, there has been no change in pricing for the XPres-T.
The XPres-T’s design is similar to the facelifted Tigor but with a few EV-specific elements like the closed-off grille with a blue stripe. Also, one can simply lift the lid on the grille and access the charging port, making it even more convenient than before. Also, the ‘EV’ badging on the front, side, and rear profiles reminds you that it’s an emission-free vehicle.
Inside, the dashboard design remains unchanged. However, it now gets a new 2-DIN infotainment system (from the Tigor) and blue highlights. Other notable features include automatic climate control, a multi-info display, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and remote locking.
Passenger safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
The XPres-T comes with two battery pack options: a 16.5kWh and 21.5kWh unit. Both power the same 41PS/105Nm electric motor that drives the front wheels.
Here are the detailed specifications:

21.5kWh Unit |

All in all, the XPres-T looks more modern-day and contemporary than before. We wish Tata offered it to private customers, considering the pre-facelift Tigor EV was for a short while. The XPres-T doesn’t have any direct rival in the country. However, the Mahindra eKUV100 comes the closest in terms of fleet pricing.
