2016 Volkswagen Polo and Vento launched with new features

With competition like the Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz stealing the thunder, Volkswagen India has prepped up the Volkswagen Vento sedan with upgraded exterior design, new colour interior and better efficiency with a starting price of Rs 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai)
The exterior changes on the Vento facelift include a larger grille with an extra chrome slat and a more pronounced bonnet which imitates the design of the new Volkswagen Jetta. You There are other updates such as a new front bumper with chrome strips, redesigned air dam and rectangular fog lamps.
The 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift comes with LED turn indicators on the outer rear view mirrors, cornering lights and new alloy wheels. Changes at the back include new tail lamps and bumper, and chrome highlights on the exhaust tip and the bootlid.
The changes in the top of the line Highline variant of the Vento facelift are more prominent, thanks to its new Walnut Desert beige colour dashboard. The base Trendline and mid Comfortline variants come with Cloud TitanSchwarz interior. However, the overall design of the cabin remains the same.
To make the deal sweeter, Volkswagen India has introduced some new features in the Vento facelift such as Cruise Control, electrically folding OVRMs and a cooled glove box. As before, the standard equipment list includes a 2-din audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, driver and front passenger airbags, and ABS.
The 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift still comes with the same petrol and diesel engine options in the same state of tune. The new Vento’s 1.5-litre four-cylinder TDI turbo-diesel engine produces 105PS of power and 250Nm of torque, with a claimed fuel economy figure of 21.50 kmpl, as per ARAI. The 1.2 TSI engine produces 105PS of power and 175Nm of torque, delivering a fuel economy of 18.19kmpl. The 1.6 MPI engine produces 105PS of power and 153Nm of torque, with a fuel efficiency of 16.09kmpl, as per ARAI.

New Volkswagen Vento 1.5 TDI DSG automatic transmission starts at Rs. 10.91 to 11.64 lakh;
Volkswagen Vento 1.5 TDI manual transmission from Rs. 8.93 to 10.47 lakh;
Volkswagen Vento 1.2 TSI DSG automatic transmission between Rs. 9.68 to 10.42 lakh;
and the New Volkswagen Vento 1.6 MP strays from Rs. 7.70 to 9.24 lakh.
