If a leaked document is anything to go by, Ford India has announced a price hike on its models, w.e.f April 2021. We suspect such a step is due to the rising input costs. Recently, the Aspire, Figo, and Freestyle had seen a price increment and a variant rejig. Here are the current prices of all the carmaker’s models:
Model |
Price Range |
Rs 5.64 lakh to Rs 8.19 lakh |
|
Rs 7.24 lakh to Rs 8.69 lakh |
|
Rs 7.09 lakh to Rs 8.84 lakh |
|
Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh |
|
Rs 29.99 lakh to Rs 35.45 lakh |
Sadly for customers, Ford isn’t the only carmaker hiking prices at this time. Maruti Suzuki, Renault, Nissan, and Datsun have also announced price revisions across their respective models.
In recent news, Ford launched the EcoSport SE, which comes without the distinctive spare wheel on the tailgate. The new ‘SE’ variant is positioned right below the top-spec ‘S’ and is Rs 50,000 more affordable. Also, if you wish to buy a new Ford, you’ll be happy to know that there are benefits up to Rs 29,000 on all five models this March.
