The festival that re-ignites the memories of the good old racing days and is the much awaited car culture event in the international calendar, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will now have a dedicated Supercar themed parking area this year. The themed car park will be a reserved area for displaying supercars, selected by a panel of experts.
The dedicated park area will enable super car owners to display their unique vehicles and become a part of the attractions at the event. The car park will be located inside the parameter of the event and just above the Formula 1 paddock within Goodwood Park.
With a capacity of accommodating 300 vehicles, slots in the car park will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. An additional exception made for the park area will be for all variants of the Porsche 911 car, to mark the Goodwood’s 50th Anniversary.
For supercar owners to display their car at the Festival of speed, they will have to apply online to check their eligibility for the Supercar Eligibility List and then book their parking area to avail a Supercar pass. The festival will be running from July 11-14, 2013 and will be held at the Goodwood circuit like every year and includes attractions from everything in Formula 1cars and teams, Le Mans cars, rally cars, pre-War racers, touring cars and the very latest supercars.
