GOSF 2014 gives carmakers a December boost

Great Online Shopping Festival 2014 (GOSF 2014) powered by Google is one super mall to buy whatever you want. On the automobiles front, last year Nissan and Tata Motors were quick to notice its potential and sold quite a few cars online. This year, a lot more carmakers have joined in to associate themselves with the biggest shopping festival of the year. But don’t be fooled!

There are some great deals on a lot of stuff with plenty of e-tailers participating in Google’s big December sale but on the cars front, the offers available are already on individually with carmakers. Take Skoda’s offer of buy now and pay in 2016 offer for instance or the discounts on the Renault Duster (we’ve listed down offers below).

GOSF 2014 gives carmakers good visibility more than anything else though, without making much effort to promote their offers. In the month of December, sales tend to slow down as most customers prefer a newer year model for a better resale value. That makes it a good time to shop as the offers nullify the lower resale price of a December manufactured car.
